Logline
Alex and Raed, longtime friends in their twenties, spend most of their time together. As Raed prepares to leave Lebanon, they share more significant moments, blurring the lines of their bond.

Mario Ghabali grew up in Lebanon where he wrote and directed his first short film "Puncture" (2021) during his studies at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA). This graduation film was selected in multiple international festivals. After that, Mario gained hands-on experience on various film sets, working across different departments to broaden his understanding of the craft. In 2022, he moved to Paris to pursue a master's degree in directing and screenwriting at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. During his time in Paris, he made a short film for the prestigious Centre Pompidou's "Hors Pistes" festival and independently produced and directed "Far from it" in 2024, starring renowned actress Darina Al Joundi. Mario is now established in Paris, where he is currently developing a new short film and beginning the writing process for his first feature film.
